Jonar Gonzalez Romero
Large audience got to know him as a dancer of Yanek Revilla’s group “Casino.com” with which he gained many prizes in the dance competions in category rueda de casino. In Cuba he performed with various groups, i.e. in Teatro Heredia, Casa de la Trova, Cabaret Tropicana Santiago or Malaica. Dancing Pilon and Mozambique he was recognized the best dancer in 2004 and 2005.
He specializes in salsa suelta where he’s using agility and velocity creating choreographies based on footworks and body movement.
Currently he lives in France where on a daily basis he’s giving dance classes and taking part in many afrocuban festivals. He’s coming to Poland after a long break – last time we hosted him on the first edition of Festival Cubano in Cracow. High time to check out his new dance inspirations!
