Yusleyby Stoker Fernandez

   She was born in Havana, Cuba. Graduated from Profesional de Arte in 2000 and she's specialized in tradicional Cuban dances. Yusleyby has been teaching tradicional Cuban dances in Escuela de Instructores de Arte in Villa Clara.

  In 2001 she was chosen as a dancer to Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba and became a solo dancer. She has participated in several national tours, festivals and cultural exchanges: she has been performing and co-working for example with: Adalberto Alvarez, Polo Montanez and Haila. She had been on tour with Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco all over the world. She represented Cuba in a show called ,,Bulla" with the Canadian group DecidedlyJazz, and it got good reviews and lots of fame.

  Yusleyby has been teaching at many schools in Helsinki for several years, likewise she makes performances and leads workshops at salsa festivals.
