Javier La Rosa
Javier de La Rosa comes from Havana, where he worked at the Cultural Center Castillito and was musical activist. Since his arrival to UK nine years ago,he is a DJ, playing salsa and reggaeton, timba, latin, hip-hop and R & B at various events.
He is finalist of Bacardi's DJ Competition in Havana, a finalist in Hanover Square in 2003. He appeared in the magazine iD London (edition October 2005) as one of the leaders of the British Latin music scene.
Javier as a DJ accompanies the greatest Cuban musicians during their live performances in the UK and France. These include Los Van Van, Pupy y los que son son, Maykel Blanco, Elito Reve, Sierra Maestra, Osvaldo Chacon, Paulito FG, Sur Caribe, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco and Candido Fabre.
He is well-known to participants of the festival in Rovinj, where he has driven a Cuban dance floor for many years. Valued for his large selection of custom and unique tracks, great feel for the dance floor and the ability to convert each event into the untamed wild party, from which you cannot get out. He is called ,,La maquina de Cuba ".
